Peru 2010

Jan 30th, 2010 When we checked into the hotel, the front desk girl recommended that we take a “Lima Lit up at Night” tour. In addition to seeing some of the monuments and plazas, we would visit the Magical Circuit of Water, the greatest complex of fountains in the world (according to the World book of Guinness Records). The thing is, the tour company wanted $35.00 per person, we decided to use the hotel driver to take us to all these places at a fraction of the cost and we got door to door service. This actually turned out to be more fun than I thought. There is something about fountains that gets adults and kids alike fascinated. There were fountains that created tunnels to walk through, fountains for kids to play with, fountains where they project pictures and lasers onto – it was all fun.
We then headed over the Plaza Mayor where we took some pictures with the buildings lit up. All in all, a great day.
